Oblivion patch confirmed for next week

Bethesda is delivering their downloadable content even faster then lightning. Bethesda already announced the next downloadable content for their game Oblivion. They confirmed to 1up.com that the patch for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is in the final stages of development and certification. The patch will fix the bugs that didn’t get caught before release. For the gamers that don’t have Xbox Live, the update is also coming with the next Official Xbox Magazine disc.

At least the wait’s not far off now. The company confirmed to 1UP that an official patch is in the final stages of development and certification, and should be available for both PC and Xbox 360 users sometime next week. But what if you don’t have access to Xbox Live? The company’s looking into a number of options, including bundling the patch onto a disc with the Official Xbox Magazine. “We’ll make it available via whatever means are out there for any game to get updates to people playing the game,” said public relations head Pete Hines.

Everyone had better go see DOrian to rack up some Cash now before you can’t do it again! Although it is a lot quicker to gain money from the count once you present him with the cure for Vampirism… stupid bastard just keeps dishing out $1000 every time you ask for a reward… I wonder if this will also patch the “duplicate item” clitch…

Woohoo, the site’s back!

I must be one of a rare few who’ve not come across any Oblivion bugs. The slow loading times can be a pain sometimes but if you clear the cache when starting then that’s fine too.

How do you ‘clear the cache’?
