Love FOOTBALL demo available on Japanese Marketplace [Updated]
What better way to try out the new features from the Spring Update than by downloading a fresh new demo? Just in time for the upcoming soccer World Cup, Microsoft released the demo for Love FOOTBALL. At the moment it’s only available on the Japanese Marketplace but the workaround still works. Just set up a Japanese Live account and you’re good to go. The demo is 610.68MB big.
Update: Apparently the update crippled the workaround. You can download the demo but when you start it, it gives you a ‘Wrong Region - The disc’s region code is incorrect for this console.’ error. We tried several different Live accounts but none work. Let’s hope this problem is limited to this demo.

Awesome! Finally a demo that’s worth doing that workaround for (I’d be surprised if we get an English translation any time in the next few months)
I’ve read on another forum that demo doesn’t work (on UK machines) even if you downloaded it with a Japanese account… haven’t tried it out for myself though I admit.

If anyone else has played this, I think we can agree that it looks pretty weak- graphically. I will say it seems like it would be a fun game to play through, but it doesn’t exactly scream “NEXT GEN!” to me

That screenshot’s at least 18 months old, in fact I’ve not seen anything new since the 360 launch, which is why the demo came as a bit of a surprise.
Saying that, the first gameplay movie I saw was fairly slick… that screenie certainly doesn’t do it justice.
Well… I’ve downloaded the demo and, judging by the screenshot, the game hasn’t received much attention since that pic was taken
So this doesn’t work on an english system at all? I thought Japan was also PAL though? Thats seriously gay, I actually wanted to try this out.

Man, this sucks. I made my gamertag ‘japanese demo’ a few months back and everything.
I’m sorry Catamount; i’ll just change my 17 year old, common local-dialect to suit your needs, shall I? I find it disgusting that it’s not available to other regions. Better? Yeah, now perhaps you’ll think before stereotyping again?
