Lumines Live and LOTR2 demo out today… not!
And a most certain ‘not’ it is too. The Xbox guys screwed up today in their regional newsletters, as Italian, English, German and Dutch recipients at least have reported receiving announcements that Lumines Live and the demo for Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle Earth II are available ‘now’ on Xbox Live Arcade and Marketplace respectively.
Obviously, neither of them is on there right now, and we’d be very surprised if they came out this week. Thanks for the false hope folks! Not.

I almost wanted to skip work and go home for Lumines alone….heheheh….

WTF is Lumines? everyone is going on about it and I feel somewhat left out.
Just about the greatest game for the PSP. A great block puzzle game with loads of multimedia. Trippy graphics and techno music. A must have.
And the 360 version is going to have extra downloadable content allowing real music videos (e.g. Madonna) to play in the background. A nice addition.
I’d imagine this was a complete faux-pas, the Lumines shown at E3 looked more like a concept mock than anything else, I doubt it’ll be released much before Xmas.
Last known info is still “this summer” though.

Free downloadable demo of a PC clone of Lumines if you want to get a feel for what the idea of the game is. The PSP/360 versions are much slicker though.
Getting the Dutch newsletter today, I was surprised to see the Lumines portion, I ran to check on live, and nope. Once this game comes out, I have no reason whatsoever to use my PSP anymore.
I cant wait for this to come out lumines is amazing. I doubt it will be out for ages tho.
This is the 2nd time they have sent out an e-mail with false info as they did it with the Perfect dark map pack aswell

I’m not anti-English by any means, I just like to see our closest rivals getting humped - in the same way that, as a Celtic fan, I take great glee in Rangers getting hammered and you lot no doubt get from watching Germany get beaten.

i think i know what they do. they have an automatic spammer setup with the info that they should have this content on the marketplace on said date and it sends out the memo. i cant honestly believe they would have a person send that out when its not there. its bound to be automatic. eitherway, KNOCK IT OFF ALREADY!!!!
