1UP says that Ninety-Nine Nights, a fantasy/strategy RPG developed by Phantasma and Q Entertainment, has been given an August North American release date by Microsoft. In addition, a new preview trailer for the game has been put up for download on the XBL Marketplace.

The game, which EBGames lists as having an August 15, 2006 release date will be published by Microsoft and as such its release price will be $49.99 USD. It comes to us from Tetsuya Mizuguchi, who is well-known for creating the two most popular puzzle games of the current handheld generation, Meteos (Nintendo DS) and Lumines (PSP, soon to get a sequel on the Xbox Live Arcade).
