EA clears up Godfather release date
Gamespot got final confirmation from Electronic Arts on the release date for upcoming mafia epic The Godfather. Current-generation versions for PC, PS2 and Xbox will be out March 21st in the United States, and fly over to Europe 3 days later. Xbox 360 and PSP versions are still delayed though, and are set to appear before the end of this year.
The Godfather puts players into the shoes of a mafia foot soldier. As they run various missions in a sprawling re-creation of 1940s New York City, players will rise through the ranks of the Corleone organization and run into familiar characters from the movies as portrayed by the original actors.
