Psychonauts soon to be backwards compatible
Head over to 1up.com and read this little tidbit about Psychonauts being backwards compatible. This is good news for Tim Schafer who demanded that his creation be backwards compatible.
Shacknews noticed over at the IGN Insider boards that one of the MS employees on the backwards compatibility team broke silence. “Rest assured, we are working on Psychonauts,” he said. There was, however, no timeline provided for the update.
With the recent backlash regarding Peter Moore’s comments regarding backwards compatibility, it seems we could end up seeing more updates sooner rather than later.
There was no date that was mentioned as to when it might be available, but it is a good thing that they’re working on it. Hopefully we’ll see many more titles being BC.

Actually, I want the original Soul Calibur with online play and achievements on the XBLA. (Anything where I can play as Sophetia…) It’d work with that “DC games for 800 points each” rumor.
I’m not too irritated with what’s BC and what’s not, since I don’t have the money to pick up all these games. But I am glad Lego Star Wars got in, we needed it for LSW:II on the 360.

they seriously should have their titles like midtown madness, counterstrike, and mechassualt working. im glad to see they are putting psyconaughts. it mayspark some sells for a title that didnt do as well as it deserved. i can say the same for beyond good and evil as well.
