Comments on: Call of Duty 2 update content rumor

Good morning.

I am thinking of buying Call of Duty 2 for the pc and I found this blog via google. I would like to know if any of your blog readers would recommend this game? I have read some reviews and it seems to be a good game, but i try to get as many opinions as possible before parting with my cash.

Any help would be great. Cool blog by the way.

A lie is a bit harsh isn’t it? It clearly states this is nothing but a rumor. And it’ll stay that as long as IW confirms nor denies anything, a forum post is just as much a reliable source as the one for this article. Thanks for the headsup though

—-please— don’t be gullible. Adding 3 game types, including CTF? Sorry, it exists. African Jungle? Sorry again, I must have missed that level when I beat the game. Brookenheimer? Sorry, Google doesn’t turn up anything in regards to anyone in the history of the world named Brookenheimer.

The download will start auto when you turn on your xbox, not everyone gets it at ones… just keep trying.

huh? where is the update and is that all that they fixed??

( * Improved logic around deciding if saved games should be deleted and offer the option to only delete the profile and to leave all save data.
* Users reporting blank Friends List on the Xbox 360 dash after muting a friend while playing a game in Backwards Compatibility mode.
* Improved synching of games played to Web and in console.
* Network settings: keyboard does now allow entry of - (dash) character in the keyboard. )

most patches and demos and so forth release in the late hours pacific time. it may be after midnight eastern time before it comes out. anyways id bet money on it that itll be out by the middle of next month before fight night and full auto hit.

When Major Nelson went on the Pirillo Show a while after launch, he basically dashed all hopes of DivX ever coming to 360. He said when retail movies start using DivX, then the 360 will: ie, never.

Any official DivX support EVER is HIGHLY unlikely

Microsoft and DivX don’t go together very well. Something to do with Microsoft having their own formats.

it will be a BLAST if it could play DIVX and will be able to transfer videos from the PC but i’m not sure its going to happen in this update.. maybe later on.. not sure
