Jon Stewart lambasts Congress’ video game panic

Last year they did their thing on the Xbox 360, and now Jon Stewart and his Daily Show army have a go at the United States House of Representatives for basically being ignorant about how to protect the children from violent media. YouTube video after the break.

I’m a gamer myself. I was an expert in Pong…[blooping and bleeping]

Get this guy a 360 so he can play Frogger with us! He’ll be completely blown away.

Personally, I don’t understand why everyone was so blown away by hidden sex scenes in a game in which the premise is to steal cars, shoot police officers and kill hookers and why games get re-rated over a fan-made modification.

(Found this on Joystiq.)

I never watch that show, it’s not very entertaining. (Or informative for that matter.) The show is on late at night on a comedy channel. Boring.

i think thats Larry King, dood…

I watched towards the end (flipping between this and South Park on another channel) last night and he had some of Stephen Hawking’s pick-up lines. Hilarious.

Glad you all liked the post, I was worried I screwed that up a little bit ;)

The only way to get honest news in the US is through comedy central. Its much easier to stomach that way too.
