It’s looking like you’re only going to have to pay 1200 Microsoft Points (only?) to get your Lumines multiplayer fix. Xbox 360 Fanboy got in touch with Ross Erickson from the Xbox Live Arcade and asked if multiplayer will be packed in the game when you buy it. His response: “Confirmed.“
Xbox 360 Fanboy received a comment on their last Lumines multiplayer story (which they found by reading our story) from Mr. Erickson saying:
This is false information . MP is, in fact, included.
To verify, they contacted him, and this is true, indicating that the Lumines/Live Arcade teams do not, in fact, hate us all. So, does this change anyone’s mind about the game?

I have 3200 points in cards on the shelf under my 360, and 800 stored. I’ve decided to dole up my points like this:
Street Fighter, Frogger, Galaga, Pac-Man, Contra, Sonic: first card + stored
Mad Tracks (come on, DenisDenis, give it to us for 800! ;)) and Small Arms: other card
So Lumines will have to wait, methinks.

…oh, when Mizuguchi decided ‘twould be a good idea to molest the userbase by charging us extra for multiplayer. Right.
i was still going to buy it. because it would still be less than the psp version, plus u get online play. but dont tell them that, cause it could change wink wink.
If multiplayer was gonna cost extra I wouldn’t have bought it. Now I can say it will be mine again!
i’ve never played the psp version, but i would like to try this game out as it seems quite entertaining - however, 1200 points might b a bit steep for me as i’m not made of money
1200 = 50% off the psp version!! its not that expensive like you guys think
