A couple of screenshots for Mutant Storm: Empire have appeared on Xboxyde. This game is the sequel to Mutant Storm: Reloaded from developer Pompom games. Not much is known yet about it, but the screenshots look a little different than the original Mutant Storm.

This game is being developed excusively for the Xbox 360 in contrary to the first one which was also available for PC gamers. According to a guy in the comment section, these screenshots are a little outdated and the enemies have changed a bit already, but we’re unable to verify this. But this could be true since the game doesn’t appear to have anti-aliasing enabled as well.

The very nice Mutant Storm Reloaded was one of the Xbox Live Arcade launch titles, but was a bit in the shadow by the awesome Geometry Wars. The developers at PomPom Games still must have been satisfied with the sales since they are now working on a sequel exclusively for 360. First screens inside.

Neither the price point nor the release date are known at this time. Possibly this game will be released even before Street Fighter 2. Hey, about Street Fighter 2, where is that game?
