Box shots galore
Microsoft posted 4 pack shots of upcoming titles: Gears of War, Ninety Nine Nights, Viva Piñata and Crackdown. Look inside for the images and some rumored release dates.
Swedish site GameReactor added these release dates to the shots:
- Crackdown - October
- Gears of War - December
- Ninety-Nine Nights - September (US Release: August 15th)
- Viva Piñata - November
No solid trustworthy source was given, but they all sound likely and in line with what we’ve heard before.

They look sweet, but the GoW one looks kind of dull.
Also, why hasn’t Viva Piñata got the “Only on Xbox 360″ logo?

GoW not before PS64 launch? December? I bet MS/Epic will get it out before 17 November, or maybe if the paystation gets a delaystation again they will release a bit later
crackdown has some corny-ass box art but it looks like a cool game.

Will these all look like the American boxes too? Those do not have ESRB on them, so I assume they aren’t American.
Intresting that Viva pinata has no exlusive 360 logo on it. Nice to see that N3 will be released in Europe
Um….Microsoft owns Rare. Rare made Viva Pinata. Does it really matter if the box has a 360 Exclusive label? Do you think MS is going to publish the game on the PS3 or something?! WTF.
dear sweet god, that n3 box shot, thumgs up. gears of war, thumbs up. viva and crackdown, well im guessing the content of the game will carry them lol. crakdowns is ok, seems like a rockstar* take on the marvel formula. viva though, geez thats cornier then a cereal box….
ohh u just saw gears of war as december. wasnt that an october release? i suppose thats a play it safe release. though i hope the game comes out before halo 3.

An unexpected September release wouldn’t surprise me, although my best bet is that it will be pitched against the PS3 launch with huge worldwide TV advertising.
