Free Cod2 and Quake 4 Faceplates in the Netherlands
One of our sources whispered the rumor to us that soon some games will be sold with a free faceplate in the Netherlands. These will probably be Activision games Call of Duty 2 and Quake 4. Another source disclosed that for this year alone there already a large number of faceplates planned with game content on it. We don’t know if this will be for all of Europe or only for the Netherlands.

Why are they doing this so late? All the fans allready bought it… (and no i’m not talking about that lame Quake 4 game)
@D4V3 my thoughts exactly. Hopefully free faceplates with pre-orders will become the standard, that would be awesome.

Binnenkort lanceert Contact Data in samenwerking met Free Record Shop Benelux een spectaculaire Xbox 360 actie. Consumenten zullen bij iedere aankoop van een Activision Xbox 360 titel een zeer exclusieve face plate ontvangen.
Er zijn twee verschillende faceplates beschikbaar, de consument kan een keuze maken uit een Quake IV en Call of Duty 2 faceplate. Deze zijn verkrijgbaar bij iedere aankoop van de vier beschikbare Activision titels: Gun, Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, Call of Duty 2 en Quake IV.
De actie zal exclusief lopen bij de Free Record Shop in de periode eind maart/begin april en dit gedurende 3 weken, zolang de voorraad strekt. De vier launch-titels van Activision zijn zeer succesvol geweest, en met deze campagne hoopt Contact Data dit succes nog verder uit te bouwen.
