Bullet Witch gameplay video out
I’ve been having a hard time getting enthousiastic for the delayed Japanese shooter Bullet Witch when it was first announced, but the recent bunch of screenies awakened my interest in the game. And now there is a 5 minute gameplay video out!
Short summary: there’s an awful lot of shooting going on in this game… and hey, I now really definitely want a demo for this game, if it’s ever going to get a European release. Currently the game is fixed for release in Japan on July 27th, and no mention was ever made of a US or EU release, but you can already preorder an import if your 360 can play NTSC-J games.

I have to admit that the E3 trailer sucked. This video however, has made this look like something I’d like to play. NOW !

wait a second it this that gay game i said i swore i wouldn’t get????? this looks awesome i love the flips and magic and BIG GUNS … looks like it could turn out to be awesome!

The guns look silly. Meh.
Man this looks boring and repetetive; shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, do crazy sideflip, shoot, shoot, shoot.

No but it really looks better than the previous stuff I’ve seen. And the magic twist will give it the edge it needs to be a less reptetive game than all those other shooters. Hopefully it’ll get an European release. I want more cool games, and some pricedrops.
Max Payne had a lot more variaty in it than this trailer. That thing you play with seems way overpowered, there’s almost 0 interaction with you and the enemies. And I don’t see any comparison with CoD2, in CoD you have to actually think before you shoot, take cover and be all tactical. None of that is in this trailer.
It was a joke, hence the smile, but you’re probably right about it being an arcade shooter.
But is that wrong?
I think it’s all about your expectations. It being just a simple arcade shooter might be the main reason it won’t be released in Europe or the US.
I would rent it(if I knew where I could rent 360 games in Holland) rather than pay 60 of my hard earned euros. Seems to be fun for a while, but not something you’ll remember after you’ve ended the story mode in just over a day. But we’ll have to wait and see(gimme a DEMO!).
And just like Call of Duty 2, which is also a great game
Dunno, something about this video gripped and just said “YAY GUNS BLAZING” 
graphics look nice, much better than early shots of it (obviously I guess), makes you wonder why Phony needs all those seperate SPE’s to dedicate to hair and clothes in heavenly sword!
You could already download this on Xboxyde the quality is 480p, I would like to see 720p though!

Anybody got any idea when the chromehound servers are coming back online? and why the hell are they down for release anyway, WTF!!!!!
They’re fine for Japan. It seems to be the UK and parts of Europe that are the only ones affected.

To me, it just looks like a ‘next gen’ version of Gungrave.
without the magic etc. i think it would get dull very quickly. it would, without a doubt, be fun to play….but for how long?
