They should definitely do a voice over for MC. Maybe get one of those big stunt guys from the Indiana Jones movies to walk around in the suit. Also, has anyone considered Jamie Foxx to play the role of Sarge? I think it’s a great match.

i personaly think that they should not take master cheifs helmet OR suit off and they should use a stunt guy as long as he can cick the fucking shit out of the covenant and the flood and as long as he has super uber human strength (i mean u need that much strength to flip a scorpian/wraith) and can fall very long distances without geting hurt and use the voice-over guy from the game (and im taking sides or nothing like that but unless they can do that then they are wasting evryones time but id say vin diesel) PLEASE NOTE. that most of the stuff i mentoined like the strength probably comes from the suit or becoz he was geneticley modifed or both so thats my opinian OH AND SOZ BOUT THE SWEARING AND THE MISS-SPELLING

hey, i just stumble upon this comment… so forgive me if im answering after some time…
They should NOT show MC’s face in the movie, just do a voice over…i don’t get the guys that are proposing Vin Diesel or Denzel Washington to do it…none of those guys have the right image to do it..im not sayin they’re bad actors but they are not MC material… Vin Diesel doesn’t have the stuff for MC because in his movies…he seems more the halfbeast (meanin..more the animal than man) of a man…also MC is not bald and he’s seasoned, somethin i truly dont’ see in diesel ( read the novel…it gives a short description of how he looks like…) and why i think Washington wouldn’t be good is because he is not the physically active actor, i don’t picture washington doing what MC does as an everyday thing…neways…hope i didn’t bore anybody…it just gets me how pple think sometimes…

most people are right.. chief’s helmet should never be taken off!!! Steve Downes should just do a voiceover while some big actor wears the suit! BUT if they do decide to take the helmet off … consider these guys (and google them to take a look for yourself)
Alan Dale - Captain Keyes
Delroy Lindo (or Danny Glover?) - Sargeant Johnson
Master Chief - Dominic Purcell / Richard Gere (or maybe even Shane Rangi)

i know Richard Gere’s old and wrinkled but, i picture chief to “blank and sorrowful”(afforementioned) .. and also to be white with thin, deep, and dreaming eyes as if thinking only to himself without much talk.

as for denzel, hes one hell-of-an actor, but seeing him as chief wont fit the part well because i see chief as a man with no emotion(if any at all) and seeing denzel will remind me of him smiling in “remember the titans” and crying in “training day” .. not very emotionless at all
