Frogger available on the Xbox Live Arcade
What better way to wake up than by playing some oldschool Frogger? Microsoft kept their promise and released the first game in their Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday program. I wish it would fill the whole screen though.
just pause during a game, and there is settings for screen size. I was able to almost spread it completly across my 55″. Looks great! I feel so 80’s!
the achievements seems very very easy (at least 60%)
it’s well worth 400 mp .. good clasic arcade game. but where is streetfighter ?

You can spread out the screen size pretty well. Just pause during game and there is screen size options. Its stupid they didnt make this option available before you start playing, but whatever.
well sf2 aint full screen either i heard so you be disappoint when thats released on 2.8.2006;)

Oh and I know you can make the screen wider in the menu, but you just stretch it… it’s very ugly when it’s stretched.
Fun xbox live side by side play, and fun two player game. Its fun, you dont remember the 80’s, so go back to living in the 2000’s. I feel like I have a little piece of my atari 2600 back..

I’m enjoying it, but I’m extremely irritated when I brush up the corner of a slot and die. Since I don’t tolerate failure, I end the game and fall on my sword. I have quite a few bruises from this
I find flicking your gonads as personal punishment for your short comings leaves less visable scars to the public allowing you to continue your day to day life without the funny looks for a bleeding torso.

I played this game a lot on the Atari 2600 as a kid. One thing that annoys me of this version, is you can’t hang off the edge of logs and such. I keep accidently jump off logs to the left or right because it looks to me there is room. I was using the D pad, but I’ll have to try the analog stick. I don’t really feel comfortable with the control.
I played for 15 minutes and got four achievements worth 55 points. Some of the achievements look a little more difficult. I guess if I hunkered down, I could get them all in an hour or two.
Worth $5 IMHO.
doeth my eyes decieve me? me thought ye arcade be extinct. looks like they arent waiting to fight nintendo afterall. too bad there arent but a handful of other announced titles to come out after this promotion…..when will we see them? during winter lol. anyways glad to see a new arcade game out, always a blast.
they should put out chess. It would be simple and online chess is a good way to play.
C-H-E-S-S … how about Battle Chess it was on floppy disk not that long ago, can’t be that hard to port. For that matter, put a checkers and a complete classic board game section out. I would love to see a version of Boggle on Live.
I would be down for some parchesse. It’s a great drinking/b-loads game.
Battle Chess was great, I had it on the Amiga years ago.
You played chess and smiled occaisionally at the way the pieces took each other, making chess a bit more enjoyable.
