Call of Duty 2 patch arrives

A day late and a dollar short the rumored Call of Duty 2 patch hits Xbox Live. Not many details are known at the moment but we’ll keep you up to date as soon as we know more, stay tuned.

Update: Teamxbox received an official statement from Activision. It appears as though the only thing this patch patches is the savegame bug in the singeplayer campaign. Infinity Ward is still working on a multiplayer patch.

The official statement from Activision:

“Infinity Ward and Activision have issued a Title Update that addresses the player progression loss issues associated with Call of Duty 2 on the Xbox 360. The team is continuing to work on additional updates and we will keep you posted.”

Guys just incase you hear this rumor, the patch does NOT disable the glitch where you can play 60min games with 16 players, this has been confirmed. And i cant wait for the online patch to come out.

Evan ; I read that too, thanks though :)

Calm down there smokey. I really don’t see why every one is so upset. Sure CoD2 online has its problems but I’m in more good games then bad ones with the lag issues. The patch is coming. Go play some games, read a book, do something and wait.

my point is, this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. Why are we still waiting 3 months later for a patch to fix this damn game???

Is this ’single player fix’ patch out or not? Maybe there’s something i didn’t understand, but can anyone confirm this if the patch is out or not? Thanks.

It’s there. Just connect to live and boot up CoD

This game is going more to trash everyday, I can barely get into a game now and the lag happends almost everytime unless I do the multiplayer glitch. They need to get their act together n fix this shit now.
