The almighty PS3 loses two more exclusives?
Computerandvideogames.com says that Official Xbox Magazine says that this may be true. In-the-air Playstation 3 exclusives Mercenaries 2 and Assassin’s Creed may be on their way to our favorite concave ‘Box.
The British OXM site has both Mercenaries 2 and Assassin’s Creed, both of which we have reported on more than once in the past, and it’s not like they’d just put any PS3 game they hope will be on the 360 in their mag (if that’s the case, let’s add Heavenly Sword in there.)
In addition, the Xbox 360 portion of CVG has a preview of Assassin’s Creed, which takes place in old Jerusalem. Uh-oh…
Assassin’s Creed follows Altair the assassin - his name translates as ‘Flying Eagle’ -as he seeks to bring peace to the Middle East of 1191 AD, by decapitating the heads of the warring factions.

So to translate the executives of the publishers are saying, “How much is they fucking thing going to cost to develop? That much? Shit the only way we’ll make any money is if we sell enough copies, and that means we can’t publish it exclusively for the PS3 because it will sell like shit.”

at least u are paying 600 dollars for a boob ray player. the wii is going to kick ps3 and 360s ass though. no joke. if all the people who are buying ds buy it, plus nintendos console only fans, then all i have to say is welcome back nintendo. at least the controller will freshen up nintendos old franchises. all sony is doing is prettying them up. and microsoft is just trying to emulate the ps2’s success against the late arrival xbox by making the same exact styled lineup of games. too human=dmc, crackdown=gta, blue dragon=ffx, blah blah blah. xbox has xbox live though and that is worth owning one period. no matter how many clones it has.
The problem with Nintendo though is that it is not trying to beat Microsoft or Sony in the console war so it won’t kick either the PS3 or the 360’s ass.
What you will probably find will happen is that people who have a Wii (oo er missus, better not have one in public) will most likely also own either a PS3 or a 360 as well (just like what happened with the cube).
Nintendo have never tried to get the better of their competitors they are just happy getting along with one or both of them. The system, games and inovation are all aimed at a different target audience (or the same audeince as the PS3 or 360 but just for when they are in a different mood).
Think about it, if you wanted to play photo realistic driving sims with endless amounts of possible customizables, or some freaky pant shittingly scary survival horror epic (yeah okay, except for the resi’s that made it on to the cube), then you would not buy Nintendo you would buy one of the other two. If however you are looking for fun light hearted games with no stress and lots of cartoon graphics and kids humour (not forgetting hours of round the house multiplayer fun with Mario Party) then you buy a Nintendo.

Exactly, my Wii/DS will be for Nintendo’s excellent exclusives (Pikmin 3 ftw) and my 360 is for multiplatform games that I want to have great graphics

And one thing McGrude,PLEASE STFU,the PS3 and 360 still cost ALOT of money to develop for but the 360 is much easier for the developers to get what they want out of it.
Just a question….is Computerandvideogames.com reputable? Are they acctually affiliated with xbox magazine? I mean I hope they are…this would be awsome to confirm as well as Devil May Cry 4 which they say is coming to the xbox360 as heard from the creator of the game…
CVG is rather reputable yeah, we wouldn’t have posted this if it were on John’s-little-360-blog

I cannot see Deil May Cry 4 on the 360 though, as much as id love too see it (one of my best games ever) I think Sony have Capcom tied to this on an Exclsuive.
