The Sopranos won’t be on Xbox 360
Gamespot reported that THQ won’t be completing the Xbox 360 version of The Sopranos. Does anyone really care? Probably not. If you do care, The Sopranos will be a PS2 exclusive. Did anyone really expect much from this game in the first place? I didn’t.
Today, THQ revealed that it has told the developer of the Xbox 360 Sopranos to fuggedaboutit. During a conference call with analysts following its most recent earnings report, THQ chief financial officer Edward K. Zinser discussed the company’s amortization for its first financial quarter, which ended on June 30.
“Amortization of 18 percent was up three points versus the prior year quarter,” Zinser told analysts. “This is primarily due to our decision to discontinue development of the Sopranos for Xbox 360. There is no change to our plans to replace it, [but] we will release it on PS2 [during] the holiday [season].” THQ reps later confirmed to GameSpot that the game was “on track” for a fourth-quarter release.
I had a feeling it might end up like The Godfather, with unimpressive screens and boring gameplay. I guess we’ll have to buy it on our PS2s and find out for ourselves.

The series is awesome but the game will suck probably
ya its not as big as some of the games that the PS3 has had cancelled. I could care less about a port from last gen being cancelled. PS3’s losing ports from this gen.
thats good. less with the old gen ports and more with the next gen gems. i hate the term portbox 360, but sometimes it does fit.

i was looking forward for it to be on xbox 360 i have seen seasons 1,2,3 and 4 of the sopranos.
