New PGR3 picture server up and running

On PGR’s website, you’ll find out that you can now load your car pictures you’ve taken to Xbox Live. If you go and play PGR3, you can upload up to five pictures onto your own personal profile. The pictures are stored on Bizzare Creations’ servers. You can then share these photos with the world if you want to.

Want to share your photos? Follow these steps:

  • To take a photo of your car during a race, press the Start button to pause the race, and then select Photo Mode.
  • Make any necessary adjustments to your photo, press the A button to take the photo, and then press the A button again to save the photo.
  • On the Xbox 360 Dashboard, use the keyboard controls to type a name for your photo, and then press the Start button to save the photo to your Xbox 360 Profile.
  • Press the A button to go back to Photo Mode, and then press the B button to go back to the Paused window.
  • From the Paused window, you can select to continue, restart, or abandon the race.

With PGR 3 Photo Mode, you can save up to five photos on the PGR 3 Community Web site Your Gallery page. PGR 3 Photo Mode converts the photos to 100–200 KB JPEG graphic files, and then saves them to the Your Photo Mode Photos page for a maximum of 30 days. If you exceed the five photo limit, the newest photo replaces the first of your previously saved photos, making room for your newer photos. For example, if you have one through five photos saved to the Your Photo Mode Photos page, the sixth photo you save replaces your first saved photo. Keep in mind that any photos that are overwritten by newer photos are non-recoverable. You can, however, save your photos to your computer hard disk.

  • To upload your saved photos to the PGR 3 Community Web site, on the Main Menu, select Gotham TV.
  • On the Gotham TV menu, select Your Saved Photos.
  • From the Choose Photo list, select the photo you want to upload.
  • Press the Y button to upload the photo to the PGR 3 Community Web site.
  • To view the photos that you uploaded to the PGR 3 Your Photo Mode Photos page, open your Web browser, and then go to the PGR 3 Your Photo Mode Photos page on the PGR 3 Community Web site.
  • Sign in to your Windows Live ID (or Passport) account that is associated with your Xbox Gamertag.
  • View up to five thumbnail-sized pictures, each displaying the following:
    * Date Uploaded
    * Days Remaining Before Deletion
  • To view a blowout of a photo, click any photo.
  • To save a photo to your computer hard disk, click the Download button, and then click the Save button.

There you have it. As shown above, your pictures will be available on the PGR website, so post your pictures in our forum if you’d like.

Thanks Syphon for submitting.

Not bad! I’ve got one almost identical to that final in-race one, except I’m being squeezed by two cars and there’s another one flying off on the grass :D
