Star Trek: Legacy Screens & news

Captain’s log, Stardate -317598.45. Starship Xboxic is now orbiting Xboxia Prime. From Starfleet Bethesda headquarters we just received a transmission containing 4 new screenshots and a newsflash about the writing staff.

Bethesda announced that they hired Dorothy “D.C.” Fontana with her partner Derek Chester. Fontana has written countless episodes, spanning the original Star Trek series to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In addition to her collaboration on Star Trek, Fontana has influenced television science fiction writing with her work on The Six Million Dollar Man, Babylon 5, and Earth: Final Conflict. In 2001, she was inducted into the American Screenwriters Association Hall of Fame and in both 1997 and 2002, received the Writers Guild Morgan Cox Award for her many years of service to the Guild.

Fontana stated: “From TV to videogames, the Star Trek story continues to excite and engage fans of all ages. I applaud Bethesda Softworks’ loyalty to the franchise and I am looking forward to providing fans with memorable adventures and characters, all set in creative, compelling storylines.

Star Trek Legacy will be released September 2006

another crapy starstrak game

already played the game?

Actually from prerelease reviews they said this is shaping up to be the first GOOD startrek game ever… but theirs fears of exactly what just happened… people know past games have always sucked and wont give this one a chance even though its looking so good.

TNG: A Final Unity was quite good. And the first Elite Force was pretty immersive.

ha, you actually entered the correct stardate :D That’s quite geeky. Not quite as geeky as the fact that I double-checked it ;)

I still have high hopes for this. The Bridge Commander game for the PC a few years back was OK, it was nice that they got a lot of the original cast on board, and the 3D bridge was a nice touch. But the combat sucked.

No I am not a star trek fan; Only having TOS, TNG, VOY, ENT & the movies on DVD :D :P :P

The fuck is stardate? In fact, what the fuck is star trek?

Xboxia Prime…

:D
