Next-Gen NBA Street announced

It has been awfully quiet around the NBA Street series since V3 came out in February 2005. EA finally broke that silence by giving IGN the official announcement trailer (read: teaser). Not much is known yet besides that it’s coming to Xbox 360 and PS3 ’sometime’ of 2007. Even the name is wrapped in mystery and simply called ‘NBA Street’ for now. The trailer doesn’t show any gameplay action either but it’s still better than nothing.

[…]That’s the concept behind NBA Street (Spring 2007; Xbox 360, PS3). Battle Melo and his crew 3-on-3 in the Cloverdale City game to earn respect. The ultimate goal is to beat NBA superstars from their hometown courts to the legendary parks across the land, finally putting your neighborhood on the map, just like Melo did for B-More.

Become a streetball legend, 90 feet at a time.

“Awfully quiEt” I believe that should read?!

What are the chances of this being “just another EA game” I wonder…

Thanks, typo that the spell checker didn’t fix. And NBA Street V3 was pretty good, a lot better than FIFA Street was atleast.

Ah yes, but it doesn’t take alot to beat Fifa Street due to the crapness that game spits at you.

EA spits crap at you, and it costs you £50.

True, true

Ummm… It won’t cost me 50 quid. No one forces you to buy games. If you don’t like what they offer, don’t pay for it. It is really quite simple.

Alright alright, ease up. Everyone knows thats the case, he was just pointing out people do get ripped off. Think of the statement as if it were aimed at the uneducated in games, the unsuspecting. Does that make you happier? Good, now go to bed
