Oddly enough this is an interview featuring Cliffy B getting interviewed…by his brother. Hardly a daring, exciting interview but it does still have some good information for Gears fans. This new interview does shed light on new factors of the progress of the game, as well as some disturbing family taunting.

Gearheads: I suppose you don’t remember you and I working our way through Contra together, do you? Cliff: Yeah, but you needed the code for 30 lives because you sucked at shooters. Still do; letting our 16 year old nephew kick your ass at splitscreen Halo. Dude. Seriously. [EDITOR’S NOTE: Cliff is a pathological liar. He was even part of a research product on the problem… ]

It also reveals how some retailers are offering to pay out of their own pocket to get the game into their stores faster than normal, and this is why the American release date is unusually a Sunday. Hopefully no religious types will be offended by the release of a game where you slay hordes of underground demon-like things and maybe, just maybe Jack Thompson will be too busy eating his grandpa mush to kick up a fuss about another violent game.
