Prey patch available
A patch for Prey is now available for download when you start up the game. It seems that Prey’s development team Human Head took a little less time than Infinity Ward did with the wretched Call of Duty 2 patch.
The changelog for the PC version of the game is very complete, but unfortunately the Xbox 360 patch isn’t well described. The lag issues during multiplayer have been adressed and several bugs were patched, but it remains unclear what those bugs were.

From what I’ve been reading, the online lag is still there. Many people are wondering if the 360 patch did anything at all.
A fake patch
Perhaps the reason for the empty changelog is that they actually didn’t fix anything
I suspected as much since it didnt take anytime at all to update.
I have not tried the mutiplayer, because I have been busting ass to finish the story. 3 Levels left.
Anyway, I am sure we will see a real patch soon enough.

The Prey update has not been released to my knowlege. If it was, there’d be news stories about it on our site, and posts here about it from us or Human Head.

Believe me, when we got the news submit I switched on my 360 and I got an update when starting Prey
I think he means its a patch to ready for the patch.
Similar to that MS update we all thought was pointless a few months back, which prepared it for the BIG update.
Curry I didn’t say I didn’t belive you cos I do. But this update doesn’t do anything, what I posted is from the official Prey forum, so they should know what they talk about.
And indeed I think this is a Update for a Update or something.
After some more playing online. It can be just me, but it seems to me that the game finds games faster now, and refresh list also seems faster. And there was minimal lag in 2 games of 7/8 which normal are laggy as hel. Maybe playing some more games will show this result.
So maybe it’s only a lag update ore something!
Must have been lucky match making, cos after 5 games they UGLY LAG BUG re-apeared.
I installed the patch yesterday but it didn’t fix the lag. The online is still unplayable. It is definately the game that is at fault because I don’t have lag in any other games. I can play GRAW against 15 other people I it doesn’t lag. I can play Prey against 4 people and the game is so laggy it’s unplayable.
The forum mod of 3DREALMS now replied that he also got the UPDATE, but hasn’t heard what it does. He is asking 2K ABOUT IT.
