Street Fighter 2 update
An update for Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting was just released according to Major Nelson. This very tiny update in terms of filesize is supposed to fix the connection problems encountered by various players. The leaderboards have been cleared as well due to players cheating with intentional disconnections.
The title update will address connection and time out issues that have been reported by players. In addition, the Leaderboards will be cleared in order to offset players that have cheated by causing intentional disconnections.
We’ve encountered some people with connection problems on our forums as well. Terrible lag when they’re still only a couple of miles apart from eachother. No idea if that problem is fixed, but feel free to leave us a comment about how you experience the patch.
hell yeah! very cool… i will jump up and down like a little school girl if this fixes the lag (which really isnt that bad IMO)
I didn’t have much problems with it either. But I’ve only played with people in the Netherlands and my connection is pretty fast
if you play in quarter match it will black screen every now and then…or during the game it will freeze and have to restart the match
hopefully this will fix it…i’ll see when i get home…lol i replied to my own comment
So is the lag enough to distract the casual gamer from playing it online? Or when I play on line (love the game but suck at it) will there be a lot of other unskilled SFIIers?
i cant win a single game in single player mode
so i think i’d better not play online

It’s alright, if you miss the Scottish weather just jump inside a cold shower fully clothed for a couple of minutes you will feel like you are back home.
Can’t connect to games, also in the middle of games like tournaments it lags out so you either loose all your money or win…
Not me. Buy decent broadband cheapskate.
