I agree.

I have a £290 premium 360, two control pads, £500 worth of full price titles, and for the past week I have spent every gaming moment sitting at a table playing poker (for monopoly money) which I got for free amusing myself between hands by moving my view of the table up and down.

And I can’t get enough.

The different characters we have met on this game has been great, some new folks on the friends list and a lot of new people on the wind up list (because it makes me happy to upset others).

Has anyone else noticed that the 4 of Diamonds actually has 5 Diamonds displayed on the card?

I can confirm it is treated as a four as I found out last night with my pocket 5’s against pocket 4’s in a half million pot. D’oh!

I really like this game and have been amazed at how much I’ve played it. I’ve had a few problems with multi-player though with my 360 freezing up a couple of times.

I’m sure I have played you, but can’t be sure as this game does provide you with too much time to roll your smokes so after the first couple of hours I am usually cabbaged anyway.

Think about it though, the delay’s are the same as people re-collecting the cards. A real game of Poker lasts a lot longer.

Texas Hold ‘em killed my XBox 360[1]! I just packed my 360 up into its cardboard coffin for the trip to the repair center. I wont have it for about 3 weeks.

they should have made the game free fir the first download, then when your bank roll depleted, in order to continue playing you had to “purchase” more chips from MS! The first consumble game!

i have to agree about the sounds effects/music, i think i lasted about 15 mintues before i turned them both off in the menu. They only sound effect i liked was the “all in” effect. Mainly cause people seam to feel the urge to make the noise at the same time themselves

One recommendation…if you’re are playing in multiplayer make sure you leave the table before shutting down the console. I lost 50,000 points because of this and then went on a losing bender cause I was pissed.-600,000 in arouns 20 hands lol. oh well time to make it up.

it is what it is, a free poker game, no fancy graffix, no super sounds, just a nice free game for the good ol’ harddrive. i dont know, the delay does suck, maybe they can hook us up w. a patch.

Yeah it’s OK. There’s a painful amount of delay between hands though - forcing everyone to press A at the completion of each hands, someone always forgets and then there’s a 10-second wait.

And the AI is far from perfect, but it’s the best I’ve seen in a poker game to date - and all this for a free game. Mind you it’s still more intelligent than most of the human opponents I’ve played so far
