Far Cry Instincts Predator demo available
A few moments ago the demo from Far Cry Instincts Predator became available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo is 344.48MB and is available worldwide, Asia excluded. This multiplayer demo can be played via Xbox Live, system link and splitscreen. It’s also featuring 5 different gametypes and 1 map for a maximum of 16 players.
This game wasn’t recieved very well by critics due to the very poor graphics compared to the Xbox version. But now you’ve got a chance to check it out for yourself.

interesting… nice small demo, ya games been out forever but it’s something new, and since its multiplayer its even better, i swear…. with a 360 and a xbl subscription you could be pretty darn happy with just demos, i mean really for the first 6 months i had my 360 i just played demos and i was happy (mostly motogp) but others as well… thats what i love about these demos you can play when your broke and then upgrade to the full version when you get some extra cash lol
This game is crap compared to the original far cry that was on PC years ago. The clever AI is gone, and replaced with respawning morons.

When I saw this, I thought the gfx chip in my 360 had malfunctioned into an emotion engine. It looks just too old. Can’t say I was impressed with the framerate either. Turning left or right just looks terrible, I’d expect something like this for the PS2, and possibly ported with such bad graphics for the xbox, but to be honest, there is nothing that this game offers 360. It looks like a terrible port. Is this a full priced game? It seems to me the xbox version (if BC) would be a cheaper option.

Bad bad bad demo. Please say the singleplayer graphics are better, and they just had to scale it back for multiplayer?
Anyway, it’s a BAD DEMO. The game has this crappy auto aim lock-on, but it’s so laggy that it’s just pointing your gun at the spot where the guy was five seconds ago.
Did I mention it’s BAD? It’s the second-quickest demo deletion I’ve ever done - Madden was only quicker because the demo was only four bloody minutes
Bad graphics (Pariah looked better) and sloppy controls make this game good for me to poop on

At first I didn’t install it but due to a lack of new demo’s I finally did and found it quite good… I’ve been out of FPS multiplayer for a couple of years and didn’t know this concept of capturing random points on the map. The graphics do look more like an xbox game than a 360 game though but it’s not that bad if you compare it to the so much praised halo 2… disclaimer: I’ve only played halo 2 in single player.
