It had to go wrong some time of course: although Microsoft has been very strict in managing the Xbox Live Arcade Wednesdays there’s always things out of your control. Although Scramble was confirmed for this week, it has been delayed for a week because of technical problems.

As marketing big shot and generally good guy John Porcaro explains:

A bit of bad news to report… Despite our best efforts, looks like we’re going to miss shipping Scramble tomorrow as promised. During the final testing and certification of the title, we discovered some minor issues that should be addressed, so we’re going to take an extra week and fix these items to ensure a high quality game experience for you when the title launches next Wednesday, September 13.

Gotta appreciate honesty, or at least I know I do. John suggests we fill our time with the less than excellent Time Pilot now, but also mentions there should be a PGR3 theme deck out for UNO.
