Microsoft to announce a new Bungie game at X06?
According to Dean Takahashi’s, the guy who wrote the ‘Xbox 360 uncloaked’ book, blog Microsoft is going to announce Bungie’s next title at X06 this month. There are no further details but Dean says that the game probably won’t take place in the Halo universe.
Halo 3, meanwhile, is well underway and just went through a script rewrite. The game is slated for 2007 still. Spong.com recently went out on a limb and talked about how Halo 3 will be the last game in the Halo series and that Microsoft is likely to announce a new non-Halo Bungie game at the X06 event in late September in Barcelona, Spain. Spong says various tidbits suggest that Halo 3 brings the story to its close. That makes sense since others have told me that Jason Jones is “not a sequel kind of guy” before.
Halo 3 is set for a release in 2007, X06 is going to take place in Barcelona on the 27th and 28th of September. Be sure to check back here for the actual announcement.
They better be still concrentrating 100% on Halo 3.

Please no. Marathon is a cult classic - updating it would be a big mistake. Plus, Halo is set in a universe not dissimilar to Marathon… the Covenant pretty much are the Phfor.

That may explain another reason they shot down that halo rts mod. they maybe making a game like that. Where you could build a army and stuff. It would be fun for me. I like rts games. It would only be good with a mouse and keyboard though. Lord of the rings wasnt that great for me. I like using a mouse for those games.
i think they should make just a halo multiplayer with like 50 maps and lots of download content like colored granades and customizable hogs like rims and shit ad-on guns and other shit any one aggree

I don’t care about Halo 3 and it was not my type game. But I like to see Bungie developing new orginal fresh game. Bungie must more games than Halo series.
