Did you Prey for free content? Because it worked
3-D Realms today gave an update as to the progress of the Prey DLC that is in development. The most important details of which was the announcement that the content will be free.
This new content will be free of charge. This goes for both the PC side and the Xbox 360 side.
This is great news for those still enjoying Prey, as it will feature six new characters, and a host of new maps. However, the number of maps to be released has not yet been stated.
It is great to see more free DLC for us all to enjoy, following in the footsteps of Chromehounds and COD2, which both had free content released.
Unfortunately, for those desperate to get hold of the new content, you will have to continue waiting, since there is no release date set or even a rough estimation:
As usual, there’s no date for this, the materials will be out “when they’re done” (although sooner than later I’d imagine ).
This is incredibly vague, meaning the content could be released anywhere between now and Christmas. But when it eventually comes, you can be sure we at Xboxic will let you know!

its funny you know… watch the top 10 xbox live 360 games before and right after the dlc is released… everytime it happens consistenly free or not… the game jumps atleast a few spots on the top 10 for the week for a few weeks… just shows how effective new content DLC’s are

This game’s multiplayer is awful. It looks like it’s from a game 10 years ago.
Considering how long Prey was in development for, I’d have probably moved on to the next console before this content is released.
The multiplayer graphics look exactly the same as single player just the mp is laggy.
