Gears of War special edition
Every self-respecting Gears of War junkie knew a special collectors edition of this game was coming, but we didn’t know what it would look like. The wait is over because official pictures of the box have been released.
For a few bucks on top of the regular price you get this lovely tin box with a bunch of nice extra things inside. We already reported on the exact contents earlier, but to make it more convenient for you I copied the contents in here.
- Destroyed Beauty, the Gears of War hardbound art book
- Bonus special features DVD, including:
- An inside look at the making of Gears of War
- The “Art of Gears of War” trailer
- Gears of War: The Race to E3
Emergence Day is coming November 12th in North America and November 17th in Europe, the regular package is going to cost you $59.99, the collectors edition is going to run for $69.99.
For me, it’s not worth the extra $10, or ÂŁ10 as will be in the UK

if this isnt worth the extra 10$ … considering its pretty standard what comes in SE/CE editions… so if this isnt enough for you to warrant the 10$ then i guess you dont bu any SE’s since there all pretty much the same content wise.
I really think that they should start adding free themes and gamerpics to these special editions… a nice case and ‘making of’ videos aren’t worth $10 to me.
PDZ included a bonus-DVD with some free gamerpics and a theme. Must say that I don’t give a flying f*ck about that, I just want the l33t tin in my cupboard
i agree you can always tell the big games in my rack… theirs a few of them but their all the sexy metalic cases

i don’t like the new tins that they put games in. i much prefer the metal case, ala halo 2, doom 3, etc.
