Lumines about to get cheaper?
It looks like Microsoft may well act upon the rather ridiculous pricing scheme for Lumines Live!, as Xbox.com forum member Dj LoneStar fired off an email to Xbox Customer support, and got some interesting news back.

All of this raises a couple of issues.
Firstly, if they lower the price on either the game or the DLC, what happens to those that have already paid out? We have seen before packs that become free, but not after 5 days of release. Is there going to be a form of compensation for the people that picked up the game immediately?
And secondly, the spelling, grammar and sentence structure are appalling. They cannot even spell Lumines! Is it genuine? Well, anyone that has had to ring customer support will tell you they have had a range of nationalitites that answer the phones, so the job of writing that email may have fallen to the wrong person.
All in all, it leaves you wondering what the hell is going to happen tomorrow. It is all speculation at this point in time, but you can expect major uproar if the price of Lumines takes a sudden drop. Still doesn’t mean I’ll get it though. So what do you think all this means?

I bought the 1200 pack and the 600 point add on. The 600 point add on REALLY REALLY should have been included, its only a few friggin extra backgrounds and colours.
Overall ive already spent as much as im going to spend on it - if it gets a reduced price I think those like me that bought it, should have some ms points added to our account or something?

I don’t beleive someone from the MS support could say that. If they are going to change their pricing they would announce that in public as early as possible to have less troubles with those who already bought it later. So I say - FAKE
I would of thought fake if it weren’t for the fact that there has been so much unhappiness. We also don’t know the download figures. Perhaps it hasn’t taken off as everyone thought it would? But we shall see won’t we!
Also, if it is a fake, wouldn’t the guy have at least spelt Lumines right to make it look all official?
It’s interesting that in the very same sentence that you complain about their spelling and grammar, you also manage to mis-spell ‘appalling’.

This is bunk. First, the grammar is terrible. Even MS Word could pick up those F-ups. Second, no MS employee would EVER send out an un-canned response regarding such a controversial topic. Just like the 100gb HDD, this is BS.
