To coincide with the launch FIFA 07, tomorrow the FIFA Interactive World Cup 2006 will kick off and allow gamers from around the globe to compete for true ub3r l33tness and a mere $20,000 too.
Beginning tomorrow across six cities in the UK, the tournament will then go on to host at least 20 events and 25 Xbox Live tournaments covering 31 countries. The Grand Final will be held in Amsterdam on Saturday, 9 December 2006 where 128 gamers will be competing for a special trophy and $20,000. In addition, the champion will attend the FIFA World Player Gala in the Opera House in Zurich on 18 December 2006, when this year’s football stars will be commended on stage.
