360 serves scrambled eggs
Yes, we all know the 360 does get a little hot at times. And yes, there are solutions out there to help with the problem, and yes, over-heating 360’s are a known problem. But, in a new video found on YouTube, did you know that the heatsink of the 360 get’s hot enough to scramble an egg?
You read that right. A guy named Brett actually manages to scramble an egg on his 360’s heatsink. He received the three red lights of doom, and it was out of warranty, and so went for a fry up. The result looks absolutely disgusting, but it shows an interesting fact: the heatsink obviously works at temperatures over 100C/212F, which is damn hot, since he also manages to boil some water.
This is not something I would recommend anyone to try, mainly because eating off of a heatsink could (potentially) cause you some health problems, and you will have to void your warranty if you wish to try this (why on earth would you?). But it’s your 360, so if you fancy having a fry up, we at Xboxic would love to see the results!

LOL
some potates and beicon is a very good breakfast
just sick..
These kind of people make me sad
LOL
Nice of him to waste his money like that, so we can have fun
We get ripped off with prices in the UK, but at least we do get decent warranties (12 months) standard. 90 day warranties ugh!
I presume this 360 was not included in the free extended warranty Microsoft gave to launch consoles in the US to bring them in line with Europe because of the overheating problems. Or was this guy not aware of the extension? Oops.
Eating the egg AFTER pouring sambuca on the heatsink? Crazy
Here in Holland we get a 24 months warranty, so no worries overhere!
You also get weed in a shop, damn you lucky dutchies.
Yeah, that’s right! Most of the things are legal.
That was amusing. Wathc the poor bastard get cancer or something.
Actually in holland there is no real warranty law, it just says that every product has to work for a certain period. The xbox 360 in this case should have an expected lifetime of at least 2 years.
Next to that there is the responsibility for the shop that sells it, they have to give atleast 3 months warranty unless otherwise noted.
Thanks for the love all.
Not to discount anything Brett has done here, BUT, I’m not sure all the hub-bub about this one. Internal components get really friggin hot, the entire purpose of a heat-sink is to move intense amounts of heat away from the vital parts so they can stay cool, and running.
