I don’t think there’s much point in bashing either FIFA 07 or PES 6 this time around, both games are good and each has their own advantages.

I personally tend to avoid EA games and have over the past few years preferred the PES series. Quite a suprise that this year I opted for FIFA 07 instead. I’m happy with my choice though.

PES6 is a BIG let down to be honest… (although still more true than anything EA produce.)

I’ve played from PES2 onwards… and this time there is no after touch when not in possetion of that ball.. so it changes the whole control scheme… -in short, making it easier for people to play together, and not giving the people in the know an extra advantage.. it was never easy to master but i’m gutted it’s been taken out.

The new passing is nice tho… but only 6 stadiums… and no kits (prem leauge)… but last time an option file of the net would solve that!… although now with no edit mode, i can’t only not change Merseyside Red to Liverpool, but i cant have my master leauge team i have had for years… same name. same kit.. now nothing of the sort…

Gutted…

but still worth the purchase - best footie game around.

i almost wanted to cry after waiting months for this game… and i’m a hard as nails kinda guy!

I have played PES 6 myself, a review of it will be coming shortly from another crew member.

I decided not to compare FIFA 07 and PES 6 too much in this review as I think it’s better to have two independant reviews of each game. Both certainly have their merits.

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is much better.

EA can eat my goal… 3 games in the same year… $50 to download extras for NFSC…
