Ghost Recon demo confirmed

3 Days ago, we posted a news item about the upcoming Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter demo. This demo was announced by GRAW dev-teams blog at 1UP.com. Today Major Nelson tells us in his latest podcast that it’s actually going to be there, and he gives us an estimate on the release date of the demo.

There is going to be a Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace, probably a week or so before it releases, so that’s really exciting!

He hasn’t played beta versions or early releases for probably about 3 months, and he’s really looking forward to this game. So are we all.
The game is set for release on March 9th, so we might just get our demo in 2 weeks.

I really hope that they implement the live functionality of this game in the way that Halo 2 was done. I was let down when Call of Duty 2 was not, and was done poorly.

Knowing Ubisoft, I’m pretty sure they’d rather delay the game than make such a mistake :)

Activision had to make launch, that’s why they scrapped MP. Ubisoft has nothing to win by rushing now, and too much to lose.
