Eragon demo available
A demo for Eragon is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The 415.28MB download will get you an action adventure set in the world of Eragon which is based on the movie which will hit theatres December 13th.
Stormfront Studios, the guys responsible for this game have also worked on the Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers video game under the EA flag. Eragon has a lot of resemblance to this game which you’ll notice while playing the demo. The controls, combo system and graphics look very similar but that’s not a very bad thing. Unfortunately it’s quite noticeable that this game is coming out on multiple platforms, graphics don’t look that good and the ingame cutscenes look ‘weird’.
The game will be released on Xbox 360, Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and PC on November 24th.
arggg im so sick of multirelease games they drag down the graphics! This game was exciting me before when i saw a few vids but now… that excitement has fallen… reminds me of carbon…. i hate when companys try to release on every platform but the kitchen sync… im suprised this isnt on phones too
The demo was awful. I deleted it about 3 minutes after I started playing it. This game could have been done on the Playstation 1.

It’s kind of funny that M$ now sort of charges money for DEMOS and GAMEVIDEOS, not directly tho. But a lot of folks only use live for demos and videos and not for online multiplayer and quite some of those will now probably “upgrade” to gold so they can keep getting the “free service” at the same time the upper class citizens of M$ online kingdom get it.

Xbox Live can’t stay premium forever. If Sony’s is free, and Nintendo’s is free, Microsoft will follow suit eventually. (They may be a bit greedy, but they’re not stupid. Greedy and stupid is Sony.)
Well anyone who can’t download this yet don’t fret it’s utter bollox, just reminds of the old 8bit days were all film licenses were turned into terrible platform games all the same as each other. This is the same a LOTR games by EA only with different graphics and title.

This is aboslutly crap! If you haven’t downloaded it yet then DON’T bother. It’s the same as Lord of the rings on the old XBOX, but much Worse in both GFX and game play. Boo! Next-gen NOT!
looks like they figured out what happened. turns out they posted the psp demo on the xbox live marketplace! anyway, boy is their face red. hope they get things straightened out soon.
