Rainbow is gold, but also delayed
Rainbow Six Vegas yesterday went gold and will ship to American stores on the 20th of November. However, European gamers will now have to wait an extra week for the game, as retailers are now showing a release dat of the 1st of December, with Ubisoft’s release list confirming it.
Pretty annoying that the game gets delayed for a week, though it has gone gold. My first guess is that Ubisoft realised that the release was too close to Gears, which could take some of their sales away.
It’s a shame, because I was looking forward to putting my face in a game for the first time ever, and by moving it back a week means it’s closer to the Wii release, something I’m also excited about. But I think Ubisoft know what they are doing; going almost head to head with the most over-hyped game since Halo 2 would always result in a loss. The US date seems to have remained in tact though, at the 22nd of November.
Over-hyped eh? Bullshit. A game as good as Gears (or Halo 2 for that matter) deserves all the hype it receives.
well, its debatable whether any game deserves that much hype. personally i think it does, but others will disagree.

Gears is good. Halo (I imagine) was good.
They are neither the penultimate video game that FANBOIS make them out to be. Regardless of the fact that they are good, they are definitely over-hyped.
i didn’t even kno rainbow six was really a big hype but yea im lookin forward to put my face in the game but the camea cost 30 or 40 $$$ kinda alot but kinda kool to see what kinda nerd play on xbox live (not calling u guys nerds) just be funny to see if your friends tell the turth about what they look like

Hardcore gamers would’ve bought it anyways, but maybe not “the others”.

they make the copies here..just take a look behind ur 360 game..under the barcode u can see MADE IN EU
Games are not shipped to different continents. They have special encryption. Europe’s encryption is PAL, and American TV’s have a different encryption.
Oh, and another point: 1 week is nothing compared to the other waits we’ve had/are enduring/ed
