I assume silver accounts got no wings to fly with (again) ? Guess I’ll have to check for myself in a few. It’d be a nice touch if you could include availability information for silver/gold members with demo/trailer/theme/etc news since this is now obviously an issue.

This content is for gold members only. Us silver members are getting the short of the stick. PS3 online looking pretty rosey now. Shouldn’t moan will be upgrading for the halo 3 beta anyway.

I think the demo is ok, just hope the missions are varied enough to keep you interested, love it when you fly into a building at superspeed and leave a crater in the side. Overall i enjoyed it.

demo is ok but like Lotus said..it needs more variety to the missions..demo missions are all the same..so that is kinda shit..but nice pick up for superman fans if its low budget price

Holy hell. I think this is officially the first Superman game that is halfway decent! It reminds me of the spiderman movie games, except you can full on fly. The demo is restricted to the little island and there isnt much to do but its still fun flying around. Trying flying out to the ocean and skimming along the surface with the turbo button on. VERY cool!

I played the demo for about 10 minutes and liked it. I didn’t love it, but I could definitely see renting it. I would not spend $60 on this game.

It was a lot of the same thing. I hated those bad guys that rolled around. They were so frickin fast. It got irritating trying to catch them all.

As to the gold/silver thing. I’m glad they are trying to differentiate the two. Especially since I’ve had Xbox Live since it was in beta. Plus, it gives more bandwidth to us gold dudes so we don’t have to wait so long to download the demoes.

i agree. i had a great time with this demo. the flying mechanics were a little stiff, but showed a lot of promise. i could see them pulling this off.

hmmm i expected a bit more, u cant even kill anyone, u can freeze them, burn them etc but they dont die! also why cant u drop people!? fle miles high with a cop and couldnt drop him so i just left him in a chimney! cant even do barrel roles or flips, bit poor imo funny tho.

The whole silver/gold thing.
I’m silver and I’m very angry at microsoft for using this as a cheap trick to encourage gold membership! I can be patient and if I didn’t know this demo was out on gold I wouldn’t care. Silver and gold wasn’t meant to be a premium and standard membership like gamespot and it’s rate limited servers it should be those that play online and those that don’t. This changes all that and it’s cheap. BTW have yo silvers out there noticed how the eragaon demo just disappeared?

Anyway that’s my 2 penneth worth..

To the Silver Cheapo who said it wasn’t about money, and he doesn’t have a need for a gold account— If you don’t need it… why are you complaining? You don’t need the demo. I’m glad you silver bums, err I mean people, don’t get stuff right away. It makes me feel special. (Getting a BJ from your buddies girlfriend special, not short bus to school special)

For the nay-sayers :

This Game rocks! How can you guys sit there and be so critical of a demo… That is actually really good. It does the flying an the power of superman better than any other game. Just blowing the cars down the street and throwing things was amazing fun. Robot graphics and the detail in the animation is praise worthy.

What else can I say sign me up.

I havent played it but I had 10 message telling me it wasnt worth the time to download. They said it was worse the the n64 version(never played that one either).

I’ve played it, and it’s FUN! I like the flying, I like the super powers. However, graphically it isn’t really that impressive, scale is there, detail is not. I noticed that the preview of the full game looks better (than the demo) if you just wait at the ‘press start’ screen for awhile the video will run, it also runs when you finish the demo. I’m interested, but there are some weird things that bug me. First.. when using Superspeed, why doesn’t the cape react.. no matter how fast you are going.. your cape still floats lazily like in a light breeze.. wtf.

How can you beat that Metallo guy? I threw everything and the book and the kitchen sink at him but couldn’t get hit last few hitpoints off…
