Pro Evo updated
If you fire up Pro Evolution Soccer 6 today, then you will find the game requires an update. It fixes a number of problems, and might just warrant a play again. Don’t get too excited though, it doesn’t include a proper edit mode.
Konami has released an update to counter the occasional problems users of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 have experienced on Xbox Live. The free update resolves the connection problems when finding an opponent, making for a smoother online experience, and is automatically downloaded whenever the consumer plays online.

Having quickly checked it out, it seems joining a ranked match is considerably easier, and there are no more pauses every time you go to shoot, which is excellent. Very pleasing that the game now almost feels the same as the offline. The lag is gone too, so you shouldn’t experience any more problems there.
The one problem I did experience was the lack of an ability to win on my part. It seems everyone has got better in my time away from the game! But the game is now at least fixed, and the patch is available now, so go and score a few goals for me!
Is the slow-down on freekicks settled? I hated that =[

seriously for the past 6 years the Fifa franchise is getting worse EVERY Year..The only exception was this year..It went from 1/10 to 3/10.. The only good about Fifa is the graphics, and for that i trully prefer Pro Evo.. Fifa has better ball and stadium Graphics but the players look like monkeys. Pro Evo while having considerably worse graphics overall, tha players are more “recognisable”.. Have you noticed when you score a goal in Fifa? the ball sticks to net and stays there..Totally unrealistic.. While in Pro if you shoot hard from a short distance the ball will likely bounce off and go right out.. Totally realistic.. Also the players in Fifa turn slower than a boat.. And dont get me started with the dashing and dribling.. well there isnt any.. Anyway if you want go buy Fifa.. But right now, a general confession is that Pro Evo 6 on 360 is the best football game on any console and pc EVER made.. Maybe not as drastically different as they expected but still the best..

I bought FIFA and Pro Ev 6 at the same time played them both and as far as I am concerned FIFA this time round is the better game, before in all previous incarnations I would have said Pro Ev but not this time.

FIFA is arcade soccer, anyone can pick it up and play and have a chance of winning.
Pro Evo is simulation soccer, an amateur can not play pro evo and have a chance of beating a pro.
Some people like arcade shit and some people like simulation. Me I like Pro Evo and I have played both and I must admit these last FIFA games have been much better but pro evo is better.
