Like the game engine / draw distance / attention to detail and general smoothness - but in common with the reviewer, feel that the actual game objectives play out pretty weakly.

Still it is quite nice to whizz around over this rendition of Metropolis, even if the gameplay itself is a bit flat.

Not beeing able to throw ppl is what really left me sitting there deeply saddened and unsatisfied.

But I kinda had this feeling that the demo would be better than the full game and the reviews (not just here) all seem to confirm that. Also, it’s not like we haven’t seen this kind of highly misleading demo before.

Sigh…I like this game to an extent. Only reason im going to rent this game is to play as Bizarro and really have some fun. I wonder if Bizarro can throw people or just kill them yea that would be SO SWEET

I will also agree on a no go with this game. I put the money down for the reserve and when the demo came out I put it on a different game. Game Informer hyped it up and so did EA but like the review said they dropped the ball… Personally I loved the powers that he has but thats it.

Rockstar should have had the opportunity to do this game…

Eughhhh ! ! Played the demo, judging by that yeah 4/10. Ugly looking, ugly playing. 360 don’t need games like this. Movie tie-ins have always been piss poor except for a few and this game follows that.>_

I downloaded the demo yesterday and was fully expecting to delete it after 5 minutes max. Since I’ll try everything at least once I gave it a fair shot …. and then another one …. and one more and another .. and ….. Well, for some reason I’ve had quite some fun with it (yes, sometimes I AM easily amused) but that didn’t come from beating up Metallos baddies. Instead, after defeating Metallo once, I opted to turn my more destructive attention on Metropolis which was quite entertaining.

Tossing boats down on ppl is ridiculous fun for a while and so is throwing cars around the neighbourhood. I tried to throw some ppl I picked up around but that didn’t work. I was sad, very sad.

Now that would have been some good fun, wouldn’t it ? Also, I was disappointed that going into walls or hitting the ground at max speed just leaves a few cracks behind. I’d expect to go straight through buildings and such …. oh, guess I am just in a way too destructive mindset when thinking about superpowers

Anyway, long story short … I was actually thinking about picking this one up, as silly as it may sound. But if this falls into the same category as just cause, saints row, dead rising, test drive etc. (read: nice engines, lack of content) then maybe I shouldn’t.

But damn, throwing cars around is so fun

EA..i guess they gonna put DLC where u can have better controls for 100ms points..or mayby buy super powers for 800ms points each??

I agree, after playing the demo you could quickly see how shallow the gameplay is. Could have been a great game if they actually focused on the gameplay more than the environment.

The demo was ok-ish. It’s EA though, expect Super Man 2 next week, once they’ve milked the Marketplace.
