Viva LA party
If you are going to be around Los Angeles on the 2nd of December, you might want to consider making your way to the Santa Monica Pier with the whole family, because there is an official Viva Piñata party being held, to celebrate the release of the game.

Between 11AM-3PM, the original party animals from the show will be hosting the event. That’s right, you too could meet Hudson Horstachio, Fergy Fudgehog and Paulie Pretztail. Children would love something like that.
It’s free entry, and there is a lot of stuff to do. No doubt there will be a load of giveaways as well. It might be good for those still unsure about getting the game too, as you’ll be able to play it at the event:
- Play “Viva Piñata†on Xbox 360 gameplay stations
- Come face to hoof with a 35’ tall Horstachio Piñata
- Celebrity guest in attendance to teach children the Viva Piñata dance!
- Kids get a chance to “pull†a piñata and win a variety of prizes including Xbox 360, Viva Piñata videogame for Xbox 360 and Viva Piñata prize packages (*some age restrictions apply)
- Have your picture taken with Hudson Horstachio, Paulie Pretztail and Fergy Fudgehog from the animated TV series on FOX TV
- Face painting, fun activities and more! Kids even enjoy FREE carousel rides during the event
- Viva Piñata animated TV series viewing area
- Xbox 360 Family Settings/Citizenship area for parents to learn more about online safety
Sounds pretty fun, especially for the younger ones. I can’t see myself being allowed on a carousel ride, for example. And the prize giveaways I mentioned seem to already be stated, as you get to break open a Piñata and get free stuff. Offering a 360 is a pretty good deal. And a celebrity guest will be showing children the Pinata dance? The romance dance?! Aren’t children too young to learn that?!
All in all, it sounds like a pretty fun day, for everyone. If you’re planning on going, let us know below, and take some pictures, then show us in the dedicated Viva Piñata thread over in the forums.

They arrange a Viva Pinata party in Fjärilshuset, Sweden as well.
At times like this it would be nice NOT to live in the UK. Viva Pinata is going to take over the world.
A demo would be nice :o)
A demo would never work. You wouldn’t be able to spend long enough with that game that you’d need to to fully understand what’s happening.
lol sounds fun
I’d also like a demo, as well as Shane. I just don’t know what it’d be like to play it. I’ve watched the interactive video and it looks fun but I think the design is rather too child-orientated for me (I’ll be 15 soon)
Big boy! I’m 17 soon!
ive played viva pinata and it rocks!
