It’s a new month and that means that a new artist must be named Artist of the Month! Thankfully, someone has risen to the challenge and has declared who will be gracing our consoles with their awesome musical presence for the next few weeks. Fans of Jack Black will be thrilled, as December’s artist of the month is Tenacious D. Find out what video is available for download and how much memory it’ll take up on your hard drive after the jump.

Jack Black is a busy man. In addition to acting, Mr. Black is also in this band you might have (or, you know, have not, depending on your tastes), heard of. The band is Tenacious D. Xbox.com describes them as an acoustic metal band.

The video available for download is the album’s title track, “The Pick of Destiny.” It’s only available in 480p, and it’ll only cost your hard drive 32 MBs of space (Yeah, I had to do a double take, too). About the album:

Tenacious D: The Pick of Destiny soundtrack album, from Epic Records, is in stores now. The album includes fifteen songs and many hilarious dialogue highlights from the movie, and features several standout songs, including “Classico,” fan favorite “History,” and “Kickapoo,” guest-starring Meatloaf and Ronnie James Dio! The Pick of Destiny was produced by the Dust Brothers’ John King (Beck), mixed by Ken Andrews (A Perfect Circle), and features Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters on drums, John Spiker on bass, and John Konesky on guitars.
