Over 1 million people Lost on a different Planet

It seems that we as Live members can’t get enough of Lost Planet, as more than one million people have downloaded both the single and multi player demo offerings that exist on the Marketplace.

Capcom also state that their multiplayer demo has clocked over 300,000 hours worth of games, which is a staggering amount for just a demo with little variety. This probably explains why they were planning on releasing a patch for the demo, just to keep everyone happy.

Capcom have got to be pretty darn pleased with those figures, as they should expect now to see their game fly to the top of the chart come release week. It’ll be the first big game of 2007, and regardless of whether people have any money left after Christmas or not, you can expect this game to sell a lot.

I personally have had trouble getting to like this game. I have been unable to spend a lot of time with the MP demo due to other games stealing my interest. I do intend to try again, but for now I’m on the less excited side. But come mid-January, I’ll probably be wanting a new game, and this will easily fill the gap!

The game is currently set for release on the 12th of January, so get practising people!

I’ll probably get this game for the single player, and I’ll just adjust to the Multiplayer.
Hopefully it’ll have better maps.

there is a newer version of the E306 lost planet demo in the latest OXM, maybe it will be on the marketplace soon. i’d like to say that it’s fun but it’s exactly the same as the old demo, just with the new control changes and some new, unexpected (small) v-sync issues.

Im more excited for the single player than the multi. Gears is War has now become the “new call of duty 2″ for me and my friends. And with the release of new content coming. this game is gonna keep me warm this winter.

I’ve had a bit of trouble liking this game too, but I think it’s alright now. Won’t be buying it though

A-men brother. I love this game so very very much, I think I’m going to pre-order the CE :D

I played it and it’s OK. Really didn’t make me want to buy it. I’ll rent it for sure. It’s going to take a lot to make me stop playing Rainbow 6.
