Armored Core 4 release date revealed
The 360 has a fair selection of Mech games, with Chromehounds already out and Lost Planet available in some regions already, and most by the end of January 2007. Still, considering the need to drive the 360 in Japan and the fact that most gamers like giant machines with guns on them that remind them of transformers a new mech game is not a bad thing. Armored Core 4 was announced for the 360 a while ago, but only now do we have an official release date of March 22nd 2007 for the game.
This is good news for all Mech fans. The 360 is soon to have even more Mech games with other robotic titles such as Gundam and Mobile Ops on the way. Mech games and RPG’s are crucial for the Japanese market and also for expansion of the 360 fanbase in other territories as well. It is a shame that FromSoftware did not see fit to announce a European release date, but if they make this game ‘Region Free’ those of us stationed in Europe can nab it at a low price from www.play-asia.com. Bargain.

There was one AC for the play station that was very cool. Don’t know which one it was. I just remember being super addicted to it. Fingers are crossed for this one. Are there any trailers? Actual game play?
gametrailers.com has a lot of gameplay footage of this one. However, it would seem as if the graphics designer of AC4 had serious depressions while working on this one.
