Burnout 5 hits the road

Today saw the release of eight new Burnout 5 images, displaying some of the cars on offer, as well as an overview of a map, which I’m sure some of you will find interesting. There are also some nice stills of a crash, step by step. Check them out after the jump.

The images are from an Official PlayStation Magazine preview feature, however it is impossible to tell whether or not the images are taken from a PS3 or a 360. We know though that developers Criterion prefer the PS3, as they have always developed for Sony first, everyone else second. It’s likely that both versions of the game will look similar to one another, so a mix up in screenshots could well happen!

The crash impact images above is a nice collection of images, and you can really see the damage done to the car and how. The graphics based on the first shot look nice enough, but the three images of the side of cars don’t look as good as I think they should. There doesn’t seem to be enough polish for me.

The game is currently due for a 1st of April release in Europe, whilst the US get the game on the 26th of March. These dates are liable to change at any given instance mind.

you forget who is publishing this game. They will rush it out if they feel their wallets aren’t fat enough.

WAR START, Criterion first to prefer PS3, let see which company (MS or Sony) will buy the soul of more game developers

Why the hell would Criterion prefer the ps3 when they’ll hardly make any money off the game?
