Half-Life 2 pack subtitled Orange
Roses are red, violets are blue and the new subtitle for Half-Life 2 is Orange, at least for the next-gen console versions. We’re not entirely sure about the reason for this name change but since this package will contain a whole lot more besides Half-Life 2, the publisher probably wanted to make clear that this is a version packed with extras.
Besides Half-Life 2, you’ll get expansion packs: Episode 1 and (the soon to be released on PC) Episode 2 as well, and it doesn’t stop there, you get Team Fortress 2 and Portal in the package too. Team Fortress 2 has been in development since I was an embryo, but Portal was announced at last year’s E3 but we didn’t really know that it would be bundled with Half-Life 2. Trailers for all of these games can be found on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
We don’t know when Half-Life 2: Orange hits the stores but if it does for $60 or whatever the regular price is in your currency, it’ll be a sweet deal, 3 games and 2 expansions for the price of one. If you’re only interested in Half-Life 2 you might want to consider the backwards compatible Xbox version which can be picked up for about $25.

Not to be picky but they’re episodes, not expansions. You might think they’re the same thing but episodes are a game in parts and and expansions is well, and expansion of a previously released game.
The whole episodes thing *is* an expansion for Half-Life 2. It’s true that it’s a game in parts but as a whole they’re expansions. But that’s just a technicality and I won’t bother to fight about it

To anyone in who hasn’t played Half-Life 2 and episode 1, GET THIS its easily one of the best ever FPS’s that’s been made. If it wasn’t for the fact i’ll be getting this on the PC i wouldn’t hesitate. Portal looks fantastic and TF2 will hopefully live up to the first TF’s rep, Episode 2 will hopefully be as good as Episode 1 i doubt Valve would releasr crap anyway.
I will definitely be buying this. HL2 is the only PC game I have played since Xbox 1 was released (and converted me away from PC games).

They need to put this out soon or it might get swollowed up by the 8 or 10 other must have games coming out in the next 6 months. (just the way i see it)
I’m really looking forward to the Episode 2. And I’ve only played Half Life 2 on the original xbox, and that experience was a little… laggy, sort of.
portal makes my brain hurt just hinking about it!!!!! No, really. After I d.l and watched the trailer on XBL Marketplace, I was curled up in the fetal position for hours. Thinking in a video game? get outta here! The package as a whole seems to be heading in the “MUST HAVE” direction. HL1, HL2, Portal and TF2. hhhmmmmmm……4 games, 1 price. mass9 likes!

i picked up the original xbox half life for $8 (normal price, not even on sale) and i got bored during ravenholm, i’ll probably finish it sometime.
It does get a lot better. Highway 19 or whatever is very good. Lots of loading though.

i dont care what the game is called..i ve been waiting for a 360 version of HL. finally its coming. and glad to know that the entire HL2 game + expansion is coming to 360..hopefully the game comes out atleast by 2008.
Hey, this is totally and completely off topic, but does anyone no if it is possible to bring a guest into Gears of War online. You know, the same way you can do it with halo 2. Do you have to buy an extra Xbox Live account.
