Not unlike Eddie Murphy, Tenchu Z will be making its way to the states sometime this year. Get your shuriken and your grappling hook ready, There will be hundreds of hapless guards just asking to be murdered in as many ways as you can think of.

Some of the old favorites from Tenchu games of past will be back, as you’ll have a slew of kooky ninja gadgets and potions, as well as the occasional item thats bristling with ninja magic. This offering is going to be a bit longer than the last title Wrath of Heaven, and will be clocking in at 50 missions. There’s been no announcement on whether or not the game will offer multiplayer, or any form of online play. The last title had co-op as well as competitive multiplayer, so it’s probable that at least some form of multiplayer will appear. The only thing more exciting than stabbing a guard through a shoji screen is stabbing your friend through one and hearing an endless stream of cursing come out of your Live headset.
