Halo 3 - beta invitations due this week
Last December we told you that registration for the Halo 3 beta had begun. We then went on to provide details of the European registration process and two other means of registration; Crackdown and Halo 2. With so many eager fans hoping to take part in the Halo 3 beta test, we’re now able to tell you that should you be selected, you’ll be notified this week.
Here is the statement from the official Halo 3 website:
The Xbox Live multiplayer public beta, which is a pre-release version of the multiplayer experience of Halo 3, is scheduled for availability in spring 2007 exclusively on Xbox 360. This beta also represents an opportunity for gamers to give information that will help in the development of Halo 3. Through the resulting feedback, Bungie Studios will be able to further refine and hone the end result of the game.
Phase one registration is now closed. If you have been selected to participate, congratulations and stay tuned for an email notification on the week of January 22-26, 2007.
So there we have it, straight from Bungie themselves. E-mails will be going out from today up until Friday, keep your eyes peeled. If anybody is successful and receives their beta invitation for Halo 3, be sure to let us know!

well everyone knows they will select the public AFTER they give like 2000 spots to microsoft employees this is bullshit therefor your chances of getting picked ARE VERY SLIM
You are a very bitter person. You do realize that it is a Microsoft game? If they want to give spots to MS employees, it isn’t BS, it is their prerogative. Feel lucky not entitled if you get selected for the Beta. If not, there are still other methods of entry.
it makes sense as it’s a Microsoft published game and most games don’t get piblic beta testing so you should be grateful
That’s why if you are buying crackdown, you get anice little bonus.

Maybe? Only maybe if you didn’t take the steps to GUARANTEE that you get a copy of Crackdown with the Halo 3 beta invite. If you really cared, you would have found multiple methods all ovet the forums that would ensure you get a Beta invite, like pre-ordering it on Buy.com… If you didn’t even try to find a way to get one, you don’t really want one, and should not even start bitching about it. You can only blame yourself for not getting an invite to the Halo 3 beta.

Couldn’t care less about it, not pre-ordered it, but you enjoy as i clearly wouldn’t having to speak to someone like you on it who get s so worked up over a fucking game.

Did anyone know what was in the other Halo 3 Article on here earlier today, I saw it but when i click it, it had gone, and it’s now removed from the news section, i believe it was titled: More Haol 3 Leaked Footage.

how did you get your invitation to the beta?
Well through one of the communities that each had some invites to give. I’m Dutch but I got it from a Belgian forum. Good luck or if you really can’t wait you always can buy Crackdown offcourse.
how about the people who registered on the first night on the halo 3 site? that’s what i did.
that is what this article is about back in december people who signed up through the halo3.com website this week is when the emails are going out to confirm if you have received a beta code or not.
