We announced last week that the Def Jam: Icon demo would coming today, but that was unfortunately postponed, again mentioned in the same post. There is still no news yet as to when that will be coming. However, in another rumour we posted just yesterday, we mentioned that NBA Street Homecourt would be seeing a demo this Friday, maybe. EA have since confirmed the news.

The Def Jam: Icon demo, for those that missed it, was delayed because EA are “coordinating a worldwide release for the demo”. In other words, they are preparing a PS3 demo as well, which wasn’t ready yet, so decided to wait. Guessing of course, however it is more than likely to be the case.

On a happier note, the NBA demo was confirmed to be coming tomorrow yesterday by EA.

The demo will provide an early look at the game and the new Trick Remixer and Flight Control systems. The demo will feature Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets vs. Rip Hamilton and the Detroit Pistons at Venice Beach.

There are alot of people waiting for the NBA game, and this demo is likely to be much appreciated by many, especially if it plays as well as the screenshots look. When the demo is released, Xboxic will let you know!
