Dan Aykroyd in Ghostbusters; Time0 teaser trailers
Remember when the internet went wild after Ghostbusters clips were discovered on YouTube that seemed to show a game was coming? Then remember that they got pulled thanks to a legal battle ensuing behind closed doors? Well, now it seems the development is still going, and that Dan Aykroyd will be appearing in the game. Plus, he lets slip other tidbits of information. And to keep you interested in Zootfly (potential developers of the Ghostbusters game), they have released teaser trailers for Time0, another development of theirs.
“Universal [Studios] purchased the rights from Sony for a game,” Aykroyd told the Sun. “I’m actually going to have to perform and do some motion capture for them. That will be next year.”
So it seems that despite the YouTube pages displaying the message “This video has been removed at the request of copyright owner Sony Pictures Entertainment because its content was used without permission”, that it actually isn’t Sony that hold the rights to it anymore. Also, the comment indicates that a Ghostbusters game won’t be seen until 2008 at the earliest; chances are it will be late 2008.
This is a bit disappointing since the game videos on YouTube looked very promising. The response to them was also one of great pleasure all over the internet. Hopefully Zootfly can continue to update us on the situation about the legal side of things, but at least there is more chance of seeing the game on the 360 now that we know Sony aren’t directly involved.
Thankfully, Zootfly are keeping themselves busy during the license battle by working on Time0, another of their development projects. Very little is currently known about the game, but three teaser trailers have so far been released, which actually show just how weird the game is. You won’t find much of an insight about the games from the videos, but you will certainly be intrigued.
What did you make of all that? Let us know below. If you fancy seeing the videos in High Definition, head over to the Gametrailers page and check them out.

Time0 looks interesting. I see some Shadow of the colossus in the third trailer. Graphics aren’t half bad either.
that just officially joined my “keep an eye on” list
What’s Max Payne doing over there?
Very impressive vids! looks like one to look forward to, as is the Ghostbusters game.
